Have you ever wondered how clothes are cleaned when you send them to the dry cleaners? All you see is the dry cleaner taking your clothes and tagging them for identification. Behind the counter, the dry cleaner would inspect the clothes for stains and damages. Nevertheless, it would be better if you call the attention of the dry cleaners to the stains since you know your clothes better anyway. This would ensure that the dry cleaner would not miss cleaning the stains.
The dry cleaners would be able to apply pretreatment on these stains before the actual dry cleaning. And so again, informing them about the stains would ensure that your clothes would be free from stains when you get them. This is because the stains would have already been loosened before the actual dry cleaning. When the garments are loaded it would be cleaned and the stains would be removed.
Inside the machine it would be rotated as solvents are applied there absorbing the dirt and the stains. The garments are circulated again and again to drain the solvent. Once this process is completed the cleaners would unload them and inspect them again for any more stains remaining there.
In cases where there are still stains remaining, the dry cleaners would treat and clean them again. Once the clothes are totally cleaned, they are ironed and folded. Depending on type of clothing, some would be hanged too. The clothes would then be ready for pick up. And so, your clothes are really ready for use when you pick them up.
