Nordic churches in London
St Olav's Church is located close to the River Thames in Rotherhithe at 1 St Olav's Square, Albion Street (next to the entrance to the Rotherhithe Tunnel) (51°29²57³N 0°3²15³W / 51.49917°N 0.05417°W / 51.49917; -0.05417). The nearest Underground stations are Rotherhithe or Canada Water. The congregation is part of Sjømannskirken (The Norwegian Church Abroad or The Norwegian Seamen's Churches.) The Finnish Church (see above) is located nearby in Albion Street.Cumberland Terrace
Cumberland Terrace remains in residential use: Originally comprising 31 houses, parts of it have now been converted into flats. A large number of the houses are still individual family homes. This first resident, William Mountford Nurse, moved into the terrace in 1828, the building was not fully occupied until 1836.Chester Terrace
All 42 houses are Grade I listed buildings.[1] They were designed by John Nash and built by James Burton in 1825. At each end of the terrace there is a Corinthian arch bearing at the top the terrace name in large lettering on a blue background, probably the largest street signs in London. Five of the houses are semi-detached. One of the semi-detached houses, Nash House (3 Chester Terrace, although the main entrance is on Chester Gate), has a bust of John Nash on its west side,[1] looking identical to the bust on All Souls Church, Langham Place.Waterlow Park
Set on a hillside, the park is set amongst ponds and offers fantastic scenic views across the City of London.A1 road (London)
After passing Scratchwood, the A1 crosses the A411 from Watford to Barnet at the Stirling Corner roundabout, skirting Borehamwood, before turning northeast and running through open countryside to Bignell's Corner.Information by Wikipedia.com
